If you're looking for a great and inexpensive way to visit Israel and take part in a unique alternative community...then Kibbutz Volunteering is the program for you!

The Kibbutz Volunteer Program offers participants a unique opportunity to live and work on a real Kibbutz for 2-6 months!
Kibbutz is a cooperative community in which work, income, and property are shared by its members to various degrees, depending on the specific kibbutz. When too few members are available for a particular job, the kibbutz takes in volunteers who live on the kibbutz and share in the work and kibbutz lifestyle. Tens of thousands of young people from all over the world have Volunteered ? from the days of the founding of Israel to today!

What kind of work you will be doing
Kibbutzim have built a reputation in Israel on a firm foundation of hard work.  You will be expected to work shoulder to shoulder with your Israeli co-workers and perform work of a physical nature in agriculture, industry, and service branches.  You will be working 7 to 8 hours a day, 6 days.

In return for your hard work you will receive free accommodations on the kibbutz, sharing a room with 2 to 4 people, 3 meals a day, and free laundry service.
